hyaluronic acid 0.2%, collagenase

HYALO4® Start is a fluid ointment containing hyaluronic acid sodium salt and bacterial collagenase (from a non-pathogenic strain of Vibrio Alginolyticus) for topical application. Hyaluronic acid promotes the healing process and protects the newly formed tissue thanks to its moisturizing action, while collagenase helps to prepare the wound bed

      • Abrasions, grazes and cuts.
      • Small surgical injuries.
      1. Promotes a moist wound environment, preparing the wound bed to assist in the natural healing process.

      1. Hyalo4 Start allows the preparation of the wound bed, thanks to the hydrating properties of hyaluronic acid that promote the natural repair process and protect the new viable tissue.

      What is Hyaluronic Acid?

      - Found throughout our bodies, hyaluronic acid is the mortar between the bricks of our cells, providing hydration and a wide range of biological activities involving tissue regeneration.
      - The body’s hyaluronic acid decreases as we age, with a decline from 30 and a rapid decline from 50.
      - One gram of HA binds up to 6
litres of water providing the ideal environment for tissue regeneration.

      Gentle on your skin

This easy to apply medical Hyaluronic Acid (sodium hyaluronate) cream provides a breathable barrier to restore and moisturise the most severe skin wounds.

Role of Hyaluronic Acid in Wound Healing

The above steps describe the recommended approach for open or exposed wounds (Chronic wounds) at risk of infection. For general-purpose skin care, we recommend cleaning the skin before use (after a shower is ideal) and applying creams directly to the target area, missing steps 3 and 4, as shown above.

Please refer to your health care professional to ensure these products are suitable for you.
